Keith:
I replaced "att.yahoo" with "gmail" in your stunnel.conf and it worked
fine with GMail for both sending and receiving.

I believe GMail prefers that port 587 be used for SMTP so, while it
works fine with 465, I changed the SMTP port to 587 (also in PMMail2k)
and it still works fine.

Thanks so much!
the Windows Version of Stunnel (just researched it to prepare to get it
going), but I see no reason it should not function the same as the OS/2
version. Somewhere on this list there should be people a lot more
experienced with Stunnel than I. Perhaps I will get some time this
weekend and finish setting up the Windows version to see how it goes.
If I do I will post a .conf that works for me.
also). Essentially you need to set stunnel.conf to listen at an unused
port with the "accept=" setting which is what you set PMMail to access
and put the gmail severs & ports on the "connect=" line. So if
under [pop3s] you have accept=127.0.0.1:11110 and
connect=pop.gmail.com:995 then PMMail pop server is set to 127.0.0.1
port 11110. Similar for smtp as explained on the web pages. You do need
to start stunnel before fetching or sending mail. It can also be
installed as a service (explained on the spampal site) but as I
understand it while stunnel is running it keeps its external ports open
which could expose you to some security risk.
